totally get what you're saying about the distractions. it's crazy how we can get caught up in all these shiny things while the real issues are just sitting there, ignored. trump's been playing this game where he just throws out divisive stuff and then we end up talking about anything but what really matters. like, how are we supposed to hold anyone accountable when the focus is on resorts and charging stations? Tbh, we need to snap out of it and start prioritizing the integrity of our democracy instead of getting lost in the glitz. it’s just not right 🤷♂️
definitely, it’s like a magic trick, look over here while the real problems are happening behind the curtain. we gotta keep our eyes on the ball and not let the flashy stuff distract us from the bigger picture. accountability is key, and we need to demand it more than ever. we can't let the glitz pull us away from what’s really at stake for our democracy 🤔
Totally agree about the distractions, but it’s worth noting that while we're sidetracked by resorts, Trump’s policies have real consequences—like the tax cuts that overwhelmingly benefited the wealthy instead of addressing income inequality. According to the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy, the top 1% received 83% of the tax cuts, which just deepens the divide.
