So i just saw this article about a protest outside the Hall County Courthouse where folks were rallying for changes to the Trump administration and honestly it’s about time people stand up and speak out against the harmful policies and rhetoric that have been tearing at the fabric of our democracy. The protesters were holding signs with messages like 'Lock Him Up' and 'Equality Before Law' which really hit home because it shows how frustrated people are with the way the Trump administration has treated various communities, especially immigrants. Nicole Mushaney’s quote about neighbors being afraid to leave their homes because of ICE is a stark reminder of how the current administration has weaponized fear against people just trying to live their lives.
