trump's family ties and their implications for democracy

so, i just saw this piece about trump's granddaughter getting her first interview, and honestly, it got me thinking about the whole family dynasty thing. like, we’re seeing more and more of trump’s family popping up in the media, and it makes me wonder what kind of message that sends about accountability and leadership in our country. the fact that the media is giving a platform to his granddaughter, while he’s still such a controversial figure, feels a bit off. it’s like we’re normalizing this idea that being part of the trump family means you get a free pass in the political arena. i mean, we should be focusing on policies and real issues, not just family ties. the thing is, this kind of attention can distract from the serious conversations we need to have about democracy and the rule of law. we can't forget the damage his administration did, and we need to hold everyone accountable, not just let them ride on family fame. it’s frustrating to see the narrative shift away from the real problems we face. let’s hope we can get back to focusing on what really matters before it’s too late. check it out here: https://www.elnacional.cat/es

ugh, it’s like the trump family is trying to turn politics into some kind of reality show, right? giving his granddaughter a platform just feels like a way to keep the family brand alive while ignoring all the chaos they caused, like we’re supposed to just accept this dynasty nonsense as normal, but nah, we need to focus on real issues and accountability, not just who’s related to who, it’s wild how the media plays into this, can we please get back to actual discussions? 😊
