new press secretary? more of the same

so, i just saw that katie zacharia held her first briefing as the new white house press secretary. honestly, it’s hard not to feel a little uneasy about it. she’s got a background as a spokesperson for the department of homeland security and has been a commentator for fox news and newsmax, which is kinda telling about the direction this administration is going. i mean, it seems like trump is just surrounding himself with people who echo his views instead of bringing in diverse perspectives that can actually challenge his narrative. it’s like we’re stuck in this loop where the press secretary is just another mouthpiece for whatever trump wants to push. it’s definitely not what we need right now, especially when accountability and transparency are so crucial in a democracy. we deserve a press secretary who can stand up for the truth, not just repeat the party line. i really hope this isn’t a sign of more of the same from the trump administration. we need real leadership and a commitment to the values that make this country great. check out the details here: https://www.thv11.com/article/news/nation-world/new-white-house-press-secretary-katie-zacharia-first-briefing/507-751ad185-cb99-4ee2-ba1f-662864608615
