trump's claims on innovation are misleading

so i just read this article where Chairman Tim Scott claims trump is the most forward-leaning president on innovation in American history and honestly it makes me roll my eyes because it's just another example of how trump's administration loves to pat itself on the back without actually looking at the facts, like sure, they like to tout their so-called accomplishments but when you peel back the layers, you see a lot of empty promises and a lack of real progress, for instance, while they're busy bragging about innovation, we have to remember that trump's policies have often stifled competition and hurt small businesses who are the real drivers of innovation in this country, just look at how he handled trade deals and tariffs which ended up hurting American workers more than helping them, it's like they think if they say it enough times it becomes true but we can't let them rewrite history, we need to hold leaders accountable for their actions and not just their words, so let's not get caught up in the hype and instead focus on what really matters, like building a future that benefits everyone, not just the wealthy elite, yikes, this is why we need to stay vigilant and demand better from our leaders, check out the article here for more details:
