antisemitism and the culture of hate in trump's america

so check this out, there's a teenager who got arrested in Imperial Beach for leaving antisemitic graffiti on homes which just goes to show how deep the roots of hate have grown in our society, it's like a weed that keeps coming back no matter how many times you try to pull it out, and honestly, we can't ignore how the rhetoric from leaders like trump has fueled this kind of behavior, his dismissive attitude towards marginalized communities and his rhetoric often seems to give a green light to those who harbor hate, in a way it's like he's opened the floodgates for bigotry to seep into our everyday lives, and this incident is just a reflection of that, we need to realize that words have power and when those in positions of authority use them carelessly, it can lead to real harm in communities, it's not just about politics anymore, it's about the fabric of our society and how we treat each other, we have to hold ourselves accountable and push back against this tide of intolerance, because if we don't, incidents like these will become all too common, and that's a future none of us should want to see. you can read more about it here: https://timesofsandiego.com/pacific-mission-beach/
