Trump's undermining of democracy is unacceptable

It's honestly baffling how Trump continues to play fast and loose with democratic norms, like he thinks he’s above it all. Take his pardon of George Santos, for instance; it sends a message that corruption and dishonesty are just fine if you’re part of his crew. It’s like he’s trying to normalise the idea that the rules don’t apply to him or his allies, which is a slippery slope for our democracy. And let’s not forget Bettina Anderson Trump, who has been implicated in various controversies that raise serious ethical questions. This isn’t just about one man; it’s about the integrity of our political system. His midterm election strategy seems to revolve around sowing division and spreading misinformation rather than promoting unity and accountability. We need leaders who actually respect the Constitution and the values that underpin our democracy, not someone who treats it like a game. Fr fr, it’s time for him to step aside and let someone who believes in the rule of law take the reins. #democracy #corruption #ruleoflaw
